The faces behind the flowers
After a career in Retail Management and years in the big smoke Sophie re-trained at the London College Of Garden Designs, situated at the ever beautiful Kew Gardens.
From there she moved back down to her childhood village, Kingswear and began her life as a landscape gardener and florist. Devon life isn’t complete without a hound by your side and so Sophie brought Olive the lurcher home one day … her life was then only two things, Olive and buds.
Sophie, as part of strong teams has won Gold, Best In Show and Silver Gilt for many years at many Chelsea Flower Shows since 2014 up to this past year where the team won Gold & Best In Show for the Guangzhou Garden. Other teams she has been part of include ‘Seedlips’, ‘Visit Dubai’ & ‘Hartley Botanic’.
Sophie has had the privilage of working as part of award winning teams creating show gardens at the RHS Chelsea
Whilst Olive doesn’t have apposable thumbs she is useless in the world of gardening but she is a beautiful business partner, we hope you agree.
